Scientific Text: The Heart
One of the most powerful organs in the human body is the heart. It beats around 70 times per minute and moves constantly 24 hours a day. The pounding sound from the heart comes from the opening and closing of the heart valves. These valves are located within the heart’s chambers. The heart consists of four chambers which are the left and right atriums on top and the lower left and right ventricles at the bottom. These chambers pump blood throughout the body.
